Designer Bio

Sammy has always loved fashion. Her interest began as a child when she dreamt of her perfect quinceañera dress. As a first generation college student, Sammy did not initially follow her dream of attending a fashion program, but instead began a nursing program. After attending Normandale and going to school in Winona, MN, she came to realize that nursing was not her calling. This allowed her to turn back to fashion, and Sammy has been able to express her love of early 2000’s fashion in her garments.

Designer Statement

My line, “Heavenly,” is a garden of serenity that represents the delicacy of femininity. The silhouettes of my designs are timeless and evolved, with a modern Y2K twist. The asymmetrical cuts of the shift dress and midi skirt are classy but daring, just like today's modern women.
